i've been doing alot more research than i ever have when i was a dub.
and i'm starting to realize its not just what the dubs teach that seem coincidental.
its what the bible shares.
My biggest question is why has God allowed so many people to misrepresent the Bible to suit their own needs? - i.e. WTS, Fred Phelps, the countless wars killing those simply because they are not Christian
If faith in what the Bible teaches is so important, then why hasn't God, or Jesus, done something to make sure we have the accurate truth? I know that sounds eerily similar to WTS theology, and I realize they have plenty of flimsy doctrines, - i.e. the 1914 garbage, 144,000 go to Heaven, FDS class, etc. etc.- but wouldn't a loving God provide the accurate truth to people interested in becoming Christians?

we know they do not consider themselves to be apostate, but they believe they will do the most good by staying in the organization so that when the foundations of the society are shaken, and they believe it will happen soon, they will be there to aid and comfort the jw's who don't know what to do or where to go.
Whatever you feel about them, it would still be an organization run by men - just different men. Same mentality, even if they know not what they do.

Now, I have never been to E-Watchman, and I know very little about them, but it sounds like they do have good intentions and honestly wish to help. Then again, I though, and still do, that most dubs have good intentions; they are just misinformed and misled.
Like I said, I'm no expert on E-Watchman and their theologies, but it sounds like some of you are being a bit harsh on them. Maybe they will do some good. We'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

Everyone else succinctly said everything that needs to be said. What's the point in becoming re-instated if your ultimate goal is to disassociate yourself? You are essentially the same thing in their eyes. But if your goal is to exit the organization on your terms, not theirs, then I understand.

Exactly. Jesus also showed people that not every law is black and white. For example, he stopped people from stoning a prostitute. I tried to use this reasoning with the JWs, but it twas no avail.
